RR Autograph Auctions Original team-signed 1962 Cubs program

Official program for the 1962 Chicago Cubs, 8.5 x 11, signed in blue and black ballpoint by 28 members of the team. Signers are: Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ron Santo, Lou Brock, Ken Hubbs, Bob Buhl, Don Cardwell, Dick Ellsworth, Don Elston, Dave Gerard, Glen Hobbie, Cal Koonce, Al Lary, Barney Schultz, Cuno Barragan, Dick Bertell, El Tappe, Jim McKnight, Andre Rodgers, George Altman, Don Landrum, Billy Ott, Jim McAnany, and coaches Buck O’Neil, Al Shurman, Fred Martin, Lou Klein, and Charlie Metro. Scattered toning, some soiling to the back cover, and a couple of signatures at the top very faded, including the Brock, otherwise fine condition. Hubbs won Rookie of the Year and a Gold Glove in 1962, only to tragically perish in a plane crash two years later. Despite their firepower—Banks, Williams, Santo, Brock, and O’Neil are all Hall of Famers—the Cubs managed to win only 59 games, finishing 9th in the National League. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
