Bank check, 6.25 x 2.75, filled out in another hand and signed by Hemingway, payable to Portador for $170.00, May 29, 1950. Reverse is endorsed by Hemingway’s friend and fishing companion Roberto Herrera. In fine condition, with two light vertical folds, one through a single letter of signature, stamp to lower left, and cancellation holes lightly affecting first name of signature.
