Waylon Jennings’s personally owned and worn cowboy boots, approximately 13.5 inches tall and 11.5 inches long, handmade by Paul Bond from full lizard skin. Inside boots are stamped, “Paul Bond 92,” and their serial number, 92378, and Jennings’s name are handwritten vertically inside of each boot. Each boot bears a white ‘Flying W’ stitched into the front and back, and overall leather bears an elaborate pattern. A white leather ‘gun shack’ pocket is stitched into the right boot. In overall fine condition, with expected creases and general wear from use. Bond is a legendary maker of handcrafted boots whose customers have included John Wayne, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and, of course, Waylon Jennings. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Jennings’s son Terry. A truly one-of-a-kind collectible from the outlaw musician. RR Auction COA.
