American author (1856–1919) best known for the children’s classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Vintage ink signature, “Ozily yours, L. Frank Baum,” on an off-white 4.5 x 2.25 slip, clipped from a Wizard of Oz book page, and affixed to a 5.5 x 6 off-white album page, with collector’s notations at the top. A repaired central vertical separation, lightly affecting a single letter of signature and sentiment, a couple edge and corner creases, and a touch of light soiling, otherwise fine condition.
