Highly influential Spanish-born filmmaker of surrealist tendencies whose Un chien andalou (1928) remains an icon of avant-garde cinema. Though he remained controversial for the duration of his career, he attained a measure of Hollywood respectability with Academy Award nominations for his screenplays for The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972) and That Obscure Object of Desire (1977). Scarce glossy 7 x 5 photo of Bunuel conversing with a colleague, signed in black felt tip. In fine condition, with a couple light creases to top. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
